Through the theoretical part of the class, participants acquire knowledge about tradition, species and varieties suitable for fruit production, then about soil and climate conditions necessary for fruit production, but also about legal regulations related to fruit production, processing and trade of fruit products. Also with this program, through practical classes, participants acquire the skills of planting and growing fruits, harvesting and processing fruit products, as well as on how preserve and storage them. In the practical part of the course, participants acquire skills to handle tools and machines necessary for certain types of fruit production, and also undergo occupational safety training during the production process.
